Case Title: A 66 year old woman presented with complains of recent worsening of dyspnea and exertional fatigue leading to hospital admission
Case History: 66 year old woman presented with a history recent worsening of dyspnea and exert ional fatigue leading to hospital admission, she had mild long-standing exercise intolerance. She has a history of congenital heart disease and was told as a child she wouldn't survive surgery. She has had two prior strokes and is hypertensive and has thrombocytopenia.

The overriding aorta is clearly visible. The aortic valve cusps themselves are calcified with restricted opening. The ventricular septal defect is clearly seen below the level of aorta. There is both right and left ventricular hypertrophy and the right ventricular function is diminished. Click here to view movie
The pulmonary valve is markebly thickened with severe restriction of opening at the valve cusps. In addition the valve cusps are echo-bright suggesting calcification. Click here to view movie
